$$8w^3+1000y^3$$ Factor 8 out of the expression $$8(w^3 +125y^3)$$ $$8(w^3 +(5y)^3)$$ Use $$a^3 +b^3 =(a+b)(a^2 -ab +b^2)$$to factor the expression in the bracket, to have $$8(w+5y)(w^2 -5wy+25y^2)$$ So the factored expression is $$8(w+5y)(w^2 -5wy+25y^2)$$
