Suppose you conduct a test and your p-value turns out to be 0.08. what can you conclude?

When your p-value is greater than 0.05, we fail to reject the null hypothesis (the claim that there is no difference between the things being tested).  When we fail to reject the null hypothesis, this means we DO NOT reject it, and that there is no statistical difference between the things in the test.
